Major League Baseball will begin experimenting with the Automated Ball-Strike System Thursday (Feb 27), the league told press. Although human umpires will call most pitches, teams can challenge two pitches per game. Only the pitcher, catcher, or batter may challenge a call and must do so within two seconds of the pitch.
